Apple Crisp

This recipe was given to me by my friend Tracey from Nova Scotia about 16 years ago. It’s her mom’s recipe. You can imagine how many times I’ve made it since then. It’s fool proof and tastes amazing every single time I make it. Try this apple crisp warm with some vanilla icecream and your taste buds will thank you.

Back
What you Need:

5 cups apples, peeled , cored and chopped
¾ cups brown sugar
½ cup all purpose flour
½ cup oats
¾ tsp cinnamon
¾ tsp nutmeg
½ cup soft butter

How To:
  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Place apples in a glass baking dish.
  3. Mix remaining ingredients thoroughly and sprinkle over apples.
  4. Bake until apples are tender and topping is golden brown for about 20-25 minutes.

ENJOY!
