What you need:
1 clove garlic minced
½ cup chopped green onion
1 tsp chilli pepper flakes (more for a real kick!)
2 tbsp soya sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp rice vinegar
Freshly ground black pepper
Lemon juice from a super juicy ½ lemon or 1 whole lemon (mmmm!)
1 tbsp freshly chopped cilantro
Oil for shallow pan frying
1 packet firm/extra firm tofu
Salt
How to:

1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp rice vinegar
Freshly ground black pepper
Lemon juice from a super juicy ½ lemon or 1 whole lemon (mmmm!)
1 tbsp freshly chopped cilantro
Oil for shallow pan frying
1 packet firm/extra firm tofu
Salt
How to:
- Squeeze out extra water
from the tofu and slice into equal pieces (8 to 10)
- Sprinkle some salt on each
side of the tofu slices
- Heat the oil in a frying
pan and fry the tofu slices until they are browned on each side (watch out for splashes!)
- Meanwhile prepare the
sauce by mixing all the other ingredients
- Drizzle over the hot tofu
slices and serve immediately
