Brownies have got to be a chocolate lover’s favourite treat. The only problem is that when you bake them at home, you have to cool them and cut them. Unfortunately, very few of us can manage to cut perfect slices every time without making a mess. Personally, I don’t like my brownie to be all crumbly and dry. I like it when the top is crispy and the centre extremely moist. I have tried various methods to come up with the most aesthetically pleasing brownie that is easy to make and also great to look at.
Here's a tip for brownie lovers who want a huge brownie to eat with their hot chocolate. Prepare the batter as you always do, but use cupcake liners in a cupcake tray to bake them as if they were cupcakes! SIMPLE! School is starting this week for us in Ontario. Send some brownies as a treat in your child’s lunch box. It will be well appreciated. In fact send a whole boxful of them for the entire class. Also, when serving brownies, you can decide how many servings you want and what extras you want to add to the brownie batter, such as nuts, chocolate chips, dried cranberries etc. If you choose to make bite size brownies, you can use a mini muffin tray which has 24 slots. This way you can add different extras, and you can create a brownie platter. Try this tip and let us know how it goes. Post your pictures for everyone to see. Enjoy! A.K. |
