“What I say is that, if a man really likes potatoes, he must be a pretty decent sort of fellow.” ― A.A. Milne
Till date, I have not met a person who did not like potatoes, and a potato that did not like me! :) Potato & Cheese Cutlets are a guaranteed hit with even the fussiest eaters. We make 2 or 3 different versions of cutlets. Here is A.K's recipe for this version. Enjoy these as a snack, an appetizer, or as a side!
Hey Guys! The weather has been so strange this summer for us here in T.O, but it really is bbq weather right now- finally some heat! So with that in mind, here are absolutely delicious gluten free barbecued chicken tikka and chicken kebob/shashlik recipes for you to try out! A.K has also given you ideas on what you can do if you do not have a bbq! So enjoy trying these recipes out and as always, please let us know what you think. I know I love all her bbq recipes- she is an expert on marinating! Do send us pictures too! W.P
Some people have been asking us for Hakka recipes so here is a Hakka Chinese recipe which is extremely popular. Chicken pakordas are very filling because of the gram flour and chicken combination. This dish is usually served as an appetizer with noodles or rice and some sort of meat with gravy such as Manchurian Chicken. It can be made spicier by adding more green chillies. Garnish with lemon wedges and enjoy. I know W.P's husband can eat 10 of these in 1 sitting! He loves them! Enjoy
Isn't it wonderful when you get a gift delivered to your doorstep? And isn't it even better when it's edible!? My Uncle J & Auntie C sent me a care package today full of wonderful produce harvested directly from their backyard- especially for us! How special do I feel! I am so excited about fresh, organic herbs and vegetables, I can't even think straight because there are so many ideas in my head on how to use them! Thank you Auntie C and Uncle J! I love you. Here are a couple of quick shots I took this evening. I got a gorgeous selection of the most fragrant mint I have ever had (had some last year as well- loved it!), carrots, basil, potatoes, thyme, beets, eggplant, zucchini, garlic, anise hyssop (that should be interesting), and onions! I have had potatoes, mint, beets, sweet peppers, and more from their farm before but I am excited to try some of the produce from this year's harvest. I know some of you are shaking your heads at my ridiculous excitement but if herbs, veggies, and all things food weren't my passion, why would I be here talking to you! Stay tuned to see what I do with these delightful goodies! We will be going up to theirs for Thanksgiving as well so I will be sure to tell you guys about that! W.P
