A client of ours wanted to do some edible giveaways/favours for a party (1st anniversary) on Sunday and we suggested going with cookies. She wanted a flavour other than chocolate chip so she chose white chocolate chip (no nuts) & butterscotch chip cookies. She asked us to package 15 pieces with 5 cookies per give away/favour and she wanted a small msg and logos on the cookies. The theme was white and/or silver. Here is what we did for her. I had so much fun baking these cookies (I had to stop my husband from eating 1 per each batch I baked hah!). There’s nothing like the smell of fresh home made cookies. Mmm! Delicious. I also had a great time with the decorating/packaging- it is time consuming but relaxing as well! I used printed transparent cellophane to give the packages a bit of oomph rather than plain ready made baggies that you get at the stores. I also added some color by using cute little bright stickers. The tags were a breeze to make and add on as well. The only thing I did not enjoy doing? Bows. Bows and I don’t get along! It’s a fight every time- especially when you are using multiple ribbons. I don’t have that magic gene some people are born with when they tie bows super fast and they are perfect. Mine take loads of fixing to get them perfect- but it was well worth the effort to hear back from our client when she said “Omg!!!! Thank you and thank you, they look beyond amazing. The cookies are delicious and they were a hit”. That makes my day. You can also order these cookies or other giveaways and favours. Just call, email or message us and we can suggest some custom ideas based on your budget, requirements, and ideas. W.P
We catered a baby shower luncheon/tea party for 30 on Saturday, and we're very happy to have received great feedback from our clients! Nothing makes us happier than hearing that people thoroughly enjoyed all the items we prepared. As a special surprise from our end, we decorated our platters to match their theme of green and yellow and animals. We also made their giveaways/favours, which were Blueberry and Strawberry Rhubarb Trifles in decorated jars. We had a lot of fun while preparing this particular menu- Here are the items we prepared and delivered with some pics for you! W.P
