How to boil chick peas
It’s always great to have chick peas on hand. Canned chick peas can get expensive if they are a household staple in your home. They can be used in salads, soups, with rice and on their own. My kids love to have them plain. If you boil them at home, you can also freeze them in batches and add them to your freezer inventory list.
What you need :
2 cups chick peas
10 cups water
1 tsp Baking soda
1. Soak the chick peas in water and baking soda overnight.
2. Drain and wash.
3. Using a pressure cooker, cook the chick peas in 10 cups water until they are done.
4. Drain and use.
