Here's Nida with our weekly Tuesday raw/vegan post. I know I am in DIRE need of making this fat flush drink- considering we had 2 thanksgiving dinners this year plus we are celebrating Eid tomorrow. Eid is here, Thanksgiving just passed... talk about a smorgasbord of goodies. Although you may have loved every bite going down, your body might be asking for a break! What better way than a cooling, refreshing "fat flushing" drink? Not only will this water help you get rid of excess toxins and buildup, but it gives your body the break it needs!
According to Dr. Oz: "...Grapefruit is full of vitamin C which helps your body turn fat into fuel. The tangerine increases your sensitivity to insulin, stabilizes blood sugar, and stimulates genes to burn fat. Cucumber helps you feel full and acts as a natural diuretic, which means less bloating and water retention. And lastly, it has peppermint, which is not only refreshing but also promotes better digestion and stomach calm. Make a big pitcher of Fat Flush Water every morning. The longer it sits, the better it will taste. Drink at least one 8 ounce glass three times a day before each meal for 10 days straight."

What you Need
Ingredients, per 1 pitcher
How to make
Rinse grapefruit, tangerine, cucumber and mint leaves. Slice cucumber, grapefruit, and tangerine (or peel). Combine all ingredients in a half gallon pitcher. Allow the ingredients to sit for 2 hours for maximum benefits. Drink throughout the day.
