I went to the farmer’s market last weekend where a kind man literally pushed a crate of ripe plums into my hands to take home (for free) at the end of the day as he was packing up. Mind you this was after I had bought half a dozen plums earlier. I tried to say no but he insisted I take them ALL home. After sharing them with my parents and sister, I still had too many plums left so I started to think of ways to use all of them asides from eating them as is of course.
