Dessert is often a pain for those hosting dinner parties, me included. Everyone has different tastes or allergies and there is always too much left over. So I decided to do a couple of individual servings and use my book shelf as a dessert shelf and let people pick and choose what they want to eat. I made 1 hot dessert though- deep dish chocolate chip cookies with ice cream.. individual servings in ramekins as well, but those could not be put on the shelf as they disappeared as soon as they came out of the oven! This is a great idea when you do not have enough space on your dining table + it's fun for guests and best of all- easy clean up and minimal wastage. W.P
