I made this meal for my husband around his birthday using his favourites: carrots, potatoes, and steak as a little surprise post the actual birthday party. I made everything slightly differently, playing around as I often do- and the flavours came together wonderfully for this combination. Try to make this Rosemary & Thyme Fusion Steak with BFT (Bacon, Fig & Truffle Oil) Mashed Potatoes and Glazed Carrots with an Anise Hyssop Reduction next time you want to make something memorable but simple for that special someone.
