There are so many different lentil curries, prepared differently all over the world- but Black/Brown Lentils are my favourite and there's no doubt about that! When I come back home from a trip or have been eating out a lot, this Black/Brown Lentil Curry is what I end up craving after a few days. Lentil Curry with some rice and salad. YUM! Nothing tastes more like home. You might recognize this as "Dal Makhani" in Indian restaurants, but this is the non creamy version: slightly sour, full of flavour and made extra fragrant with a perfect tarrka or bhagaar at the end. For a simpler, lower calorie soup, omit the tarrka/bhagaar and have the lentil soup as is with some lemon! W.P
