Several years ago, I learn’t how to make this recipe from my dear friend Tracy. When I was in University, she invited me over for a Christmas tree decorating party and we had Jello cake along with tons of other treats. I’ve been making it ever since and have shared the recipe with several people. Now, it’s being shared with all of you.
This is the perfect dessert to serve at a party where you have lots of guests. Children and adults will all enjoy this moist cake and talk about it for days to come. You can use whatever flavor jello you like, but I’ve found that strawberry jello tastes best. I serve mine with whipped cream, but you can serve it with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. Also, if you have left over cake, freeze it until you are ready to serve. Let it defrost for 2hrs and then plate with some whipped cream and it will taste great. A.K. |
