Plumade (Plum Lemonade)

Serves 2

I had an excess of ripe plums and after eating about a dozen, giving away 2 dozen, and making 2 plum desserts, I had only a couple more left and I just could not eat any more whole, so I made plum lemonade. It’s really hot out this week, and this juice is so refreshing! I enjoyed mine while sitting on our balcony!

What you need:

3 small to medium plums
Half a lemon
1 tbsp natural honey

How to:

  1. Blend the pitted plums in your blender with a little water
  2. Add the juice from the lemon along with the honey
  3. Blend again with a couple of ice cubes and cold water for a juice like consistency
  4. Pour through a sieve
  5. Adjust honey and lemon if needed. I did not have to.
  6. Serve cold with some ice cubes and a lemon wedge

ENJOY
