Tangy Fruit Bowl

Serves 4 to 6

This is a fruit salad people eat especially in Ramadan. It's full of flavour and has the right amount of zing to it which makes it the perfect end to a meal after a day of fasting vs a heavy dessert. You can substitute the fruits with whatever you like. Add bananas close to serving so that they don’t become mushy and black.

What you need:

¼ cup fresh orange juice or store bought
2 tsp sugar or Splenda
1 tsp Shan Chaat Masala mix
1 Banana (sliced)
1 Apricot (cubed)
1 Apple (cubed)
1 Pear (cubed)
¼ cup green seedless grapes (cut in half)

How To:

1.       In a bowl, mix orange juice, sugar and chaat masala.
2.       Add all the fruits except the banana and mix well.
3.       Add sliced banana close to serving.
4.       Sprinkle chaat masala on the top.
